Yves Ouellet

A graduate with a bachelor's and a master's degree in economics from Université du Québec à Montréal, Yves Ouellet spent his entire career in Quebec's public administration, holding numerous strategic positions related to economic development since 1991, including at the Ministère des Finances and later the Ministère du Conseil exécutif. Appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Autorité des marchés financiers in July 2023, he has led the organization since August 21, 2023 for a five-year term, overseeing the regulation of Quebec's financial sector and the protection of consumers of financial products and services.
