Mathilde Grammont

A career diplomat and graduate of ENS Paris-Saclay in social sciences, Mathilde Grammont has held several international postings, including at France's Permanent Representation to the European Union and at the French embassies in Rome and Ankara. Before arriving in Montreal, she worked at the Cour des comptes (French Court of Audit) and served as diplomatic advisor to France's Minister of the Interior. Appointed by presidential decree on August 18, 2026, she became Consul General of France in Montreal on September 1, 2026, succeeding Marie Lapierre. She is also co-founder and vice-president of the association Femmes et diplomatie, dedicated to advancing gender equality within the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
