About
An engineering graduate of McGill University with a master's degree in computer vision, Pierre-Jules Tremblay founded an artificial intelligence startup in 2004 before turning to the video game industry, where he held key roles at Quazal Technologies, Behaviour Interactive and Ubisoft. With more than 13 years at Ubisoft, he played a key role in introducing the "free-to-play" model starting in 2011 and in the studio's transition to "Games as a Service" beginning in 2014, notably for titles like Rainbow Six Siege and For Honor. He was named General Manager of Ubisoft Montreal in July 2024, succeeding Christophe Derennes.
