Monique Leroux

A seasoned corporate director, Monique Leroux chaired the board and led Mouvement Desjardins as Chair and Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2016, a period marked by remarkable growth for the cooperative financial group. She also chaired the board of Investissement Québec and Canada's Industry Strategy Council. She now serves as Chair of the Board of Priorat Capital and sits on the boards of Michelin, BCE/Bell, Couche-Tard and Lallemand. A Companion of the Order of Canada and a member of the advisory committee of Women in Governance, she remains an influential voice on corporate governance in Canada and internationally.
