La Gouvernance au féminin

Alarming statistics on the underrepresentation of women in management positions and on boards of directors led to the creation of La Gouvernance au Féminin (LGAF) in 2010.

Our organization's mission is to support women in advancing their careers and developing their leadership skills. Through our Parité® Certification, we also support organizations that want to take concrete steps to close the gender gap in their workplaces.

Why parity?

All research shows that gender parity in corporate decision-making bodies has a positive impact on innovation, employee engagement, brand image, and financial performance, and this has been particularly evident during periods of recession. Enabling women from all backgrounds and at all levels of the hierarchy to progress without glass ceilings or sticky floors is therefore not only in their interest, but also in the interest of businesses, the economy, and society as a whole, especially in a context of talent scarcity.

Things have changed significantly over the past 50 years, but not quickly enough: according to the World Economic Forum, it will take at least another 131 years to achieve gender parity. Gouvernance au Féminin is helping to accelerate the movement with its wide range of activities. Join us!
