Philippe Dongier is Chief Executive Officer of CECI. He is recognized for his results-driven leadership and strong commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
He spent nearly 20 years at the Banque mondiale in senior geographic leadership roles (Afghanistan, East Africa, South Asia) as well as sectoral positions spanning community development, digital development, infrastructure, and climate change.
He also brings significant private-sector experience, having served as Managing Director of Government Affairs for Africa—and subsequently globally (excluding the United States)—at General Electric, and as a corporate strategy consultant at McKinsey & Compagnie.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Anthropology from Université McGill and an MBA from INSEAD.
