Description

Audrey Murray has been Chair of the Labor Market Partners Commission (CPMT) since June 11, 2018. The CPMT is a unique forum for consultation that brings together the main players in Quebec's labor market and has a network of over 1,000 partners across the regions, various labor sectors, and underrepresented groups in the labor market. They all share a common goal: to promote the alignment of training, skills, and employment and to ensure Quebec's prosperity. Together, they advise the Quebec government on ways to improve the labor market and support numerous initiatives to achieve this goal.

Before joining the CPMT, Ms. Murray was Vice President of Customer Service and Development at the Commission de la Construction du Québec. Among other things, she was responsible for implementing policies aimed at integrating women, First Peoples, and immigrants into the construction industry workforce. She was also a member of the Conseil du statut de la femme (Council on the Status of Women) and served on the board of directors of the Conseil de presse du Québec (Quebec Press Council). Finally, she held several positions as a lawyer and researcher in human rights and administrative law.
