Currently Global CEO of Saint-Gobain Surface Solutions, Jean-Claude Lasserre has over 30 years of experience with the Group in Europe, Africa, Asia, and America.
“I am honored to lead Saint-Gobain's operations in Canada to accelerate our development by serving our customers and partners in the best possible way,” said Jean-Claude Lasserre, the new CEO of Saint-Gobain Canada. “My main objective, together with our Canadian teams, will be to offer a comprehensive range of innovative solutions through our recent acquisitions, for ever more sustainable construction. For example, we are finalizing the first zero-carbon gypsum board plant (phases 1 and 2) in North America in Sainte-Catherine, Quebec, and will soon be launching our BasCarbone boards.”
Jean-Claude Lasserre replaces Julie Bonamy, who successfully completed nearly $4 billion in strategic acquisitions, including Kaycan, BP Canada Building Materials, and Bailey, to enrich the CertainTeed product portfolio. With a comprehensive range of interior and exterior building solutions, Saint-Gobain is poised to continue its accelerated growth in the Canadian market.
