Maria Della Posta

Maria Della Posta is President of Pratt & Whitney Canada. She is responsible for executing the company's vision, evolving its business model, and developing transformative technologies.

Della Posta has led the development and global launch of several flagship engines, including the PW800 turbofan engine for next-generation business jets, the PT6E series, the first digital engine in its class, and the PW127XT series of turboprop engines, now the new benchmark in regional aviation.

Under her leadership, the company is advancing hybrid-electric propulsion and accelerating the launch of innovative products and services that support growth and enrich the customer experience across all segments.

She is also responsible for creating Customer First, a 24/7 support center for more than 16,000 operators and 69,000 engines worldwide, strengthening customer relationships globally.

Della Posta has received numerous awards throughout her career, including the James C. Floyd Award in 2023 for her contribution to the Canadian aerospace industry. She is Chair of the Board of Directors of the McGill University Health Centre Foundation, serves on the Board of Directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, and is actively involved in philanthropic and industry initiatives.

Della Posta holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.
