It is an honor for me to co-chair this edition of La Gouvernance au Féminin's Recognition Gala, alongside Geneviève Fortier.

At CIMA+, equity, diversity, and inclusion are deeply rooted in our values. They guide our decisions, shape our corporate culture, and inspire sustainable, human-centered leadership focused on the future. We firmly believe that inclusive governance enables organizations to go even further while contributing to the well-being of society.

We are convinced that women must occupy an equal place within decision-making bodies. They bring perspectives, skills, and vision that enrich our collective capacity to innovate and meet tomorrow's challenges. This is why we are actively committed to promoting their presence in leadership roles at all levels of the organization, notably with a board of directors composed of a majority of women!

At CIMA+, this approach also translates into concrete actions: inclusive internal policies, talent development programs, and a firm commitment to building a workplace where every person can fully thrive.

We are proud to have been, in 2022, the first engineering consulting firm in Canada to receive the Parity Certification from La Gouvernance au Féminin, and to have thus paved the way for other firms since then.

I want to acknowledge all the companies present tonight who, like us, are contributing to evolving governance standards toward greater equity and representativeness. Your commitment is driving change, and it deserves to be celebrated.

Finally, I warmly thank the team at La Gouvernance au Féminin for their remarkable work, not only in organizing this gala, but especially for their ongoing action in favor of governance that is fairer, more equitable, and more representative.
