Message from the Premier of Quebec — La Gouvernance au Féminin 2025
As Premier of Quebec, I am delighted to once again highlight the impressive achievements of individuals and organizations working to encourage parity between men and women in their environments. Through initiatives deployed over the past fifteen years, La Gouvernance au Féminin stands out as a leader in the field and represents a true engine of success for countless ambitious and talented women.
In Quebec, equality between men and women is part of our fundamental values, and we can be proud of our exemplarity and our international influence in this regard. However, this does not mean that we have achieved perfection and that there is no work left to do; significant progress is still desirable. Thus, our government continues to encourage strong representation of Quebec women in the National Assembly of Quebec, and the completion of projects of national interest under their leadership. And I would say that beyond questions of equity, our nation absolutely needs the contribution of women, whether in the field of governance, in the business world, and in all other sectors.
I therefore sincerely thank those who make the professional development of women a priority. I want to congratulate those being honored tonight for their work that contributes to enriching our society. Continue to invest in equality within your community, and remember that you can always count on the support of the Government of Quebec.
